I have built and led distributed organisations from zero to 30 people across mobile, web, backend, QA and infrastructure, with responsibility for hiring, performance, leadership development, succession, technology strategy, delivery, reliability, budgets and executive communication. After ASKfm I took an Engineering Manager role at Teladoc Health to build a new platform function inside a regulated global enterprise. The scope grew from a mobile platform into cross-platform application infrastructure across iOS, Android, web, Ruby and QA, with up to 12 direct reports and roughly eight Product teams as internal customers. The technical breadth is real and current: application platforms, developer experience, mobile, backend, cloud infrastructure and applied AI. The most recent work is a human-reviewed AI delivery workflow that improved one production integration workflow approximately threefold and saved around 120 developer-hours a month, and hands-on ownership of a private, pre-launch applied-AI product. ## Experience 1. ### Engineering Manager, Teladoc Health Apr 2022 to May 2026 · Remote · Full-time Built a platform function from zero and grew it into a cross-functional application-platform organisation, and the team that could own it through repeated reorganisation. - Built the platform function from nothing and led it through four reorganisations, with up to 12 direct reports at peak. - Owned a production-critical Server-Driven UI engine, a multi-platform component system of roughly 50 components plus the legacy generation, and the release and contribution governance around them. - Built and rolled out a human-reviewed AI workflow that improved the component-integration process approximately 3x and saved around 120 developer-hours a month. Official pages, paid guides and community threads contradict each other and go stale at different speeds. Finding more text is easy.
